There's a familiar saying, "If you go looking for trouble, you're sure to find it." The inverse of this is true as well. If you go looking for blessing you're sure to find it. The world is filled with good and evil and the reality we see is rarely the full and true reality; merely what we are looking for.
However, if you can train yourself to look for both, you'll be more well balanced and see that life isn't out to get you. We're all far more blessed than we realize.
