Men, we’ve been sold a lie. Actually, we’ve been sold several lies, particularly around what it takes and what it means to be healthy and strong. My friend Aaron Dokos has such enthusiasm for life. In this episode we talk about strength, health, and intermittent fasting, and in a way that is practical, fun, and has a holistic view of what it means to be the best version of yourself.
Getting Truly Strong
We all see the guys on the big screen. Ripped, huge and some of them are pulling real weight in the gym. But, do we have a real understanding of what it takes to get practically strong. Aaron Dokos shares his knowledge on the myths the big companies have led us into, and we get back to the basics.
Health is More than Strength
Health can never be divorced from strength, but emotional, mental, and overall enthusiasm and energy are core to being truly healthy. Aaron talks about some of the changes he’s been through over the years. He’s been a long time student of the iron, but lately he’s taking a broader approach to health and is finding that getting out in nature, taking his diet seriously (but not too seriously), and enjoying life are giving him a satisfaction and vitality he’s telling the world about.
